The i.LON Vision objects in your custom SmartServer 2.0 Web pages poll the SmartServer’s internal data server for data point updates every 1 second by default. You can change the poll rate used for all the i.LON Vision objects in a given custom SmartServer 2.0 Web page to adjust the amount of LAN/WAN traffic that is generated by the custom SmartServer 2.0 Web page.
To change the poll rate used by a custom SmartServer 2.0 Web page, follow these steps:
1. Click Format and then click Page Title Properties. The Page Properties dialog opens.
2. In the Poll Interval box, set how frequently (in seconds) that all the i.LON Vision objects in your custom Web page poll the SmartServer’s internal data server for data point updates. If you do not specify a poll rate, the default poll rate is 1 second.
Note: You can set the frequency in which individual i.LON Vision objects poll their specified data points by setting the Max Age property in the object’s respective properties dialog.
3. Click OK.
