How to submit changes in SS applications opened from custom web pages

    Hello all,

I am using SS2.0 and i.LON Vision 2.0. I am trying to add an alarm notifier configuration web page on a custom web page I built. Somehow I cannot submit changes on the configuration properties such as the email address. I can add more than one email addresses on SS built-in Web page for alarm notifiers after I click the 'submit' button. However, using i.LON vision 2.0 when I modified a property on the alarm notifier configuration page on the custom web page the changes were not saved. Does anyone know how I can submit changes?

    Thank you!

     Hi

Did you add a submit button in i.LON Vision (and used it)?

    Hi Thorsten,

No, I didn't add a submit button in i.LON Vision. Do I need to? If yes then I guess I need to write some code for the button_click event? Do you have a sample code? Thanks!

     Hi Rode

Yes you need to add a submit button if you want to submit config data (dynamic data is usually auto-submitted). No you don't have to write code for the click event. You just use i.LON Vision, in the menu click  Insert/Menu Button... and there choose Submit (which actually is the default). Click ok and you have your submit button.
