    offline device

I have a problem with the ilon SS because after a day all devices go offline. In this way I can not communicate with devices. - The ilon SS is set standalone with about 150 devices PL. - The communication band is 70 100% because there is a polling dell'ilon SS that generates traffic You know how to modify the poll dell'ilon towards devices (default 5 min) Sometimes only datapoint go offline (marked in red). I need to change the time to update each datapoint (5 I datapoint per device and then about 750 datapoint for ilon) I have a pilot plant with about 50 ilon SS Thanks Marco

    Hi Marco,

' You know how to modify the poll dell'ilon towards devices (default 5 min)  '

You may change the poll Rate by selecting the datapoint in the SmartServer tree, selecting 'Driver' and then change the 'Poll Rate'.

Marco, You have the choice between changin the poll rate of 5 datapoints for your 150 devices in the DRIVER web page of each of these 750 datapoints... this is about 3000 clicks, a lot of times lost and a high risk of errors. The other solution is to use SLV Design, the commissioning/configuration tool that Streetlight.Vision has developed, to fully configure an iLON with 150 devices (configuration, commissoning, update APB, default CP values, poll rates and much more). It takes me 2 clicks (if I have the list of Neuron IDs) and few mns to create a fully commissioned iLON with "non-default" poll rate for each type of datapoint (i.e. 3 hours for one, 10 mns for another, 10 sec for a third one, etc...) with SLV DESIGN. C.

You can write a small application in any language (C#, VB.NET) to update a particular data point value/property and in one click you can change all devices in the i.LON.

     Hope this helps
