    Hi,

     I have just started (yesterday) using the iLON Smartsever. My initial aim is to interface a smart meter to the iLON and log the energy usage to a data base. Also I want to interface (via RS232) a grid frequency monitoring device to the iLON and also log the grid frequency history to a data base. 

    What I would like to know is what would people recomend is the best way to get familiar with the  iLON smartserver (examples etc).

    Hi,

    The best way to start workin on ilon smart server is by simulatnosuly reading the user manual and exeprimenting it with the smart server...  I am also new to smart server... by doing the above practise , i have developed various applications in jus two months... so my advice is to practically go inside the smart server and start experimenting it... it will be a lot helpfull..
